Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences, Faculties of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, as well as Computer Science and Business Information Systems

Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences i has a predominantly engineering-focused profile. It combines practice-oriented teaching with applied research and is one of the most research-intensive universities of applied sciences in Baden-Württemberg. The Faculties of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology as well as Computer Science and Business Information Systems address various aspects of the operation and programming of quantum computers, as well as the use of quantum effects in sensing technologies.

Research

  • Interfaces to quantum computers (Radio Frequency RF engineering, signal processing, lasers, and control systems)
  • Quantum computer programming
  • Education and training in quantum computing and quantum engineering
