We act as a middle­ware provi­der and enabler for the adoption of quantum compu­ting (QC) in indus­try and research. Our diffe­ren­tia­ted “as a service” soluti­ons enable users in both business and acade­mia to explore, leverage, and capita­lize on the poten­tial of next genera­tion compu­ting techno­lo­gies while driving their own digital trans­for­ma­tion. Our goal is to develop concrete use cases together with end users and to incor­po­rate the user perspec­tive into techno­logy develo­p­ment proces­ses at an early stage. We serve as an inter­me­diary between QPU provi­ders and use case owners, aligning appli­ca­tion requi­re­ments with the archi­tec­tu­ral design of quantum proces­sing units. Our hardware agnostic approach ensures that the most suita­ble QC platform can be selec­ted for each speci­fic appli­ca­tion. We support the develo­p­ment of quantum algorithms and the resource effici­ent valida­tion of quantum jobs through our advan­ced simula­tion environ­ments. To facili­tate and broaden access to QC, we offer compre­hen­sive consul­ting services, either independently or in combi­na­tion with our proprie­tary Quantum Appli­ca­tion Platform, QAPTIVA™. The platform includes our quantum emula­tor, an evolu­tion of the Quantum Learning Machine origi­nally develo­ped by Atos in 2017, capable of emula­ting both quantum annea­lers and gate based quantum compu­ters independently of the under­ly­ing QPU hardware techno­logy. We are actively invol­ved in publicly funded research projects, inclu­ding Q_Exa, QSOlid, and TAQO-PAM.

  • Develo­p­ment and imple­men­ta­tion of use cases by acting as an inter­me­diary and trans­la­tor between end user problem descrip­ti­ons and the speci­fic charac­te­ristics of quantum compu­ting architectures.
  • Compre­hen­sive quantum compu­ting enablem­ent through simula­tion and valida­tion. Develo­p­ment and testing of QC programs and appli­ca­ti­ons, delivered either as a service or on premise.
  • Integra­tion of quantum compu­ting methods and hardware with classi­cal HPC environ­ments, digital twin develo­p­ment, and simula­tion of noisy and noise­l­ess QPUs.

Activities

Q‑Exa: Develo­p­ment of a super­con­duc­ting 20-qubit QPU, with primary respon­si­bi­lity for the digital twin and the imple­men­ta­tion of noise models.

QSolid: Develo­p­ment of a super­con­duc­ting 30-qubit QPU. A central task is the integra­tion of the QPU into the HPC environ­ment of the compu­ting center.

TAQO-PAM: Develo­p­ment and evalua­tion of quantum algorithms for optimi­zing indus­trial produc­tion and logistics proces­ses. The main activity is the imple­men­ta­tion of an automa­ted proces­sing chain for compu­ting and asses­sing solution methods, the develo­p­ment of hybrid algorithms, and testing on use cases.
