Baden-Württem­berg Coope­ra­tive State Univer­sity Stuttgart

As the leading univer­sity for knowledge trans­fer in Baden-Württem­berg, DHBW covers all aspects at the inter­face between funda­men­tal research and indus­trial appli­ca­ti­ons of quantum techno­lo­gies. This includes both hardware, such as quantum sensing, and quantum software, as well as the imple­men­ta­tion of algorithms for speci­fic use cases. DHBW approa­ches quantum techno­lo­gies in both teaching and research from an appli­ca­tion orien­ted perspec­tive. In educa­tion, we prepare our students for a future in which quantum techno­lo­gies will play an incre­asingly important role in indus­try. In research, our focus is on trans­la­ting the latest findings from funda­men­tal research into practi­cal and usable soluti­ons. This is pursued through a holistic approach that also considers the associa­ted econo­mic implications.
