The Sensors and Actuators Group develops customer specific sensor solutions based on both conventional and quantum technology approaches, supported by advanced packaging and interconnection technologies. These solutions enable the measurement of physical parameters such as rotational angle, acceleration, inclination, pressure, strain, distance and position, gas flow velocity, magnetic field strength, and numerous other quantities.

Project: BMBF QOOOL Sensing: development of a robust quantum magnetometer kit that enables access to quantum sensing for a wide range of target groups
Demonstrator Flashlight: a battery powered pocket-sized demonstrator for illustrating the fluorescence of nitrogen vacancy centers in diamond
Demonstrator QOOOL Kit Fluoro: an add-on module for the senseBox designed to demonstrate fluorescence in diamond using four differently colored LEDs (red, amber, green, and blue)
Demonstrator QOOOL Kit Magneto: NV magnetometer, an expansion kit for the senseBox enabling continuous wave optically detected magnetic resonance (CW ODMR)
